Guitar Duo Noire

The music program in SLU's Department of Fine and Performing Arts and the St. Louis Classical Guitar Society will host the first of three special programs in their Classical Guitar Master Class Series from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.

Guitar Duo Noire

The program will feature Yale Master's degree holders Thomas Flippin and Chris Mallett and will be held in the Mainstage Theater located in Xavier Hall, 3733 West Pine Mall, on the SLU campus.

Upcoming programs include "The Festival of Four" with flutist Viviana Guzman, flamenco guitarist Guillermo Rios, mandolinist Radim Zenki and guitarist Richard Patterson on Sunday, Jan. 26, and Fabio Zanon, one of Brazil's most renowned musicians, Sunday, March 23.

The programs are open to the public and tickets are $5 at the door. There is no charge for SLU students, faculty or staff or members of the St. Louis Classical Guitar Society.
