'Funny Green Business'

Event Details: 7:00 p.m., October 25, Busch Student Center, St. Louis Room, 20 N Grand Blvd., St. Louis Room (Room 300), Third Floor, St. Louis, MO, 63103-2051

The Great Issues Committee will present "Funny Green Business" featuring business, technology and sustainability cybersatirist Bob Hirschfeld, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Saint Louis Room in Busch Student Center.

"Cybersatirist" Bob Hirschfeld uses humor to present an eco-friendly message about the challenges, opportunities and need for green and sustainable policies. Some people merely try to be green. So does Hirschfeld, which is why he mines the laughs as he deconstructs his own struggles to be green.

Hirschfeld 's creative presentation includes a tongue-in-cheek green history plus satirical perspectives on what individuals, business and government can do about lowering our carbon footprint, increasing energy efficiency and basically making sure humans don't mess up the planet. It's a funny and encouraging look at a bright green future and its positive economic impact.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
