Students, faculty, staff and friends of the Saint Louis University Campus Kitchen are invited to attend an Open House and Dedication beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, in the Kitchen's new space in the Reinert Residence Hall dining area.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Campus Kitchens Project, which started out of Washington D.C. The national office chose SLU to pilot the program in 2001, and it has since spread to dozens of other campuses across the country.
Founder and CEO Robert Egger will be on hand, as well as Fr. Paul Stark, S.J., vice president of Mission and Ministry, who will be providing a blessing of the new space.
The Kitchen relocated to Reinert Hall from DeMattias Hall this past summer, allowing for a larger space and improved working area.
Refreshments will be served, and a tour of the new kitchen will follow. For more information, please contact the SLU Campus Kitchen at 314-977-3881 or email@example.com.
