Cardboard City

Event Details: 7:00 p.m., October 05, Quad between DuBourg Hall and Griesedieck Complex

Saint Louis University's Habitat for Humanity will host its annual advocacy event, Cardboard City, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, on the quad between DuBourg Hall and Griesedieck Complex.

Participants will have the opportunity to build a cardboard house and sleep in it overnight. Other activities include presenters who'll speak about substandard housing, food, games, movies and fun with friends. The cost is a minimum donation of $5.

Sign up to take part from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 in Busch Student Center. Participants can also register online at the SLU Habitat for Humanity website or on the night of the event beginning at 6 p.m. 

Attend this event and bring awareness of substandard housing issues to the Saint Louis University Campus, as well as raise money for Habitat for Humanity.
