Benefits Open Enrollment Starts Thursday

Health benefit elections must be made through Banner Self Service between Thursday, Nov. 1, and Friday, Nov. 30. Elections received after Nov. 30 will not be processed. This is the only time to switch plans and add or cancel dependents on a current plan, unless there is a qualifying event.

All employees are encouraged to attend a meeting and learn about the benefits package for 2013. For more information, visit the Benefits Home Page or email benefits@slu.edu.

The 2013 Vitality Wellness Subsidy saves an employee $50 a month and an employee plus spouse $75 a month. To receive the Vitality discount on medical insurance, employees and spouses covered by Saint Louis University United HealthCare medical insurance must complete at Health Risk Assessment by Nov. 30, through the Vitality website and www.powerofvitality.com; and a Vitality Check by Nov. 30, whether at TenetCare, by a primary care physician or through a Walgreens Take Care Clinic.

Vitality Checks are available by appointment at TenetCare, located in SLU Hospital West Pavilion or by calling 866-758-4677.
