African American Studies Brown Bag

The African American Studies Program will host a brown bag lunch event from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in room 144 of McGannon Hall.

This brown bag workshop will focus on how African American Studies can harness new media and digital technology can further modern pedagogy. Jonathan Smith, Ph.D., and Nadia Brown, Ph.D., will share how they use new media in their Contemporary Black America class. They are also interested in hearing other's best practices for using new media and digital technology in their Africana-centered classrooms.
