The Women's Commission will host "How to Thrive in this Economic Climate" at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, in room 256 in the Busch Student Center.
Colleen Beckemeyer, a certified financial planner, will be presenting the lecture. Beckemeyer is an alumnae of Saint Louis University and currently teaches an MBA course in the John Cook School of Business entitled Investment Concepts
It is with all the strong, courageous and busy women of SLU in mind, that the Women's Commission decided on the theme for the 2011-2012 academic year: THRIVING. The Women's Commission hopes to provide programming that will inspire SLU women to not just survive, but to thrive. With that in mind, the Commission's first goal is to help tackle what is most pressing on many minds: Finances.
