The therapy dogs from C.H.A.M.P. return to campus to bring a much needed end of semester break for students studying for finals.

Many students anecdotally attest to the soothing effects of spending time with the dogs but an ongoing research study conducted by a SLU honors student has statistically significant results supporting the positive effects of therapy dog visits.

Students, faculty and staff can visit with the therapy dogs on the second floor gallery and the lower level of Pius XII Memorial Library from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, and noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.
