About the talk
Crisis situations disrupt lives suddenly and without warning. When disaster strikes and fury is unleashed, many will run and hide in fear and panic. A select few will find courage to respond positively to adverse situations with a desire to save lives and inspire others through example. Those with training will have anticipated the twists and turns of rapidly changing circumstances and set the groundwork for recovery through extensive preparation, planning, and response. These are people are emergency managers.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
