1. Who is eligible to participate in the 1818 ACC Program?


The 1818 ACC Program is designed for those exceptional high school juniors and seniors who have the ability, motivation, and maturity to begin their college educations before high school graduation.  Every student admitted to the 1818 ACC Program must meet the following admission standards:

  • Be a student in Grade 11 or 12
  • Carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Have written endorsement from the principal or a guidance counselor
  • Have teacher approval for each course

2. Are there any exceptions to these eligibility requirements?

Under extraordinary circumstances, Standard 1 or 2 may be waived based on written petition to the 1818 ACC program director from the student’s high school principal.  See Student Exemption Guidelines.

3. Is the 1818 ACC Program accredited?


The 1818 ACC Program is nationally accredited through the National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Programs (NACEP) and the Higher Learning Commission. Additionally, the 1818 ACC Program is in full compliance with both the Missouri Department of Higher Education and the Illinois Board of Higher Education. 4. When and how do students register for 1818 ACC courses?


Students register for courses at their high schools in August and September for the Fall Semester courses, and in January for the Spring Semester courses.  For information about registration, see the Registration Resources page.

5. What happens if I miss registration?

Students may only register when Registration is open. If they miss the deadline to register, they cannot register for 1818 courses that semester. It is the high schools' responsibility to communicate the deadlines to students. It is the student's responsibility to meet the deadlines, there are no exceptions. All dates and deadlines are posted online on the 1818 ACC Calendar of Events.

6. How do students receive their tuition bills and report cards?

Tuition bills are mailed to the home address the students provides. All tuition related bills and 1818 ACC correspondence is addressed to the student. Learn more about Tuition and Payment.


Saint Louis University does not issue paper grade reports to students. The Office of the Registrar issues grades electronically to students through Banner after the close of the semester. Students should review the Managing Your College Career section of the website for information regarding how to access their account and other important functions they are responsible for.

7. How do I pay my tuition for the current semester?

8. What if I get dropped due to non-payment?

If you would like to reinstate your college credit course(s) from the most recent semester, please follow the directions found on the Course Reinstatement page.

9. Does 1818 ACC credit transfer to other colleges and universities besides SLU?

10. How do I get my Saint Louis University transcript sent to my university?

 To transfer Saint Louis University's 1818 ACC credit, students should request that a transcript be sent from the Office of the Registrar to the recipient university. Learn more about how to request a transcript on the Transferring 1818 ACC Credits page.

11. Is 1818 ACC the same as AP?

No, the 1818 ACC Program is not affiliated with the Advanced Placement Program; however, some schools do offer both programs for honors-level courses. View a comparison chart of 1818 ACC and AP.
