2014 History and Political Science Day Announced

St. Louis, MO ----Saint Louis University's 1818 Advanced College Credit Program announced the 2014 installment for the Annual History and Political Science Professional Development Day.
The 1818 ACC Program invites all current high school instructors in the fields of social studies, history, and political sciences to attend the event on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Adorjan Hall Room 142. The event is complimentary for 1818 ACC instructors and costs $25 for all other individuals.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. with check in for the History presentation and complimentary breakfast. The morning session will feature a topical presentation by Saint Louis University's Dr. Michael Rozbicki and Dr. Luke Yarbrough.
At noon a complimentary lunch will be served for all participants and check in for the Political Science in service will begin. Immediately following lunch the Political Science in-service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a feature topical presentation by Dr. Emmanuel Uwalaka of Saint Louis University.
Attendees are encouraged to stay for both in-services, but are welcome to attend either the morning session or afternoon session.
About 1818 ACC
The 1818 Advanced College Credit Program provides an opportunity for qualified high school juniors and seniors in partner high schools to begin experiencing the academic rigors of college course work while still in high school. In addition to receiving credit toward high school graduation for selected academic courses, students may opt additionally to dual enroll in courses approved for college credit through Saint Louis University.
