Saint Louis University's 1818 Advanced College Credit Program offers students the opportunity to earn college credit at a discounted rate. This is only one of the many advantages to students who are ready to get a head start on their college education.

Important Things to Remember

  • Tuition Due Dates...
    • Fall Semseters: December 1st
    • Spring Semesters: April 1st
  • Tuition is billed based on the amount of credit hours taken. The tuition for a single credit hour this year is $65. Your tuition bill is calculated by taking the number of credit hours multiplied by the cost of a credit hour. For example, a course that is three credit hours will cost $195 (3 x $65 = $195).

  • Students will be receive a tuition bill in the mail addressed to them at their provided home address. Ask you students to see these bills.

  • Pay student tuition on time. If tuition is not paid in full on time students can be dropped from their class and have to pay a $50 reinstatement fee. Learn more about the reinstatement process.

  • Saint Louis University utilizes MySLU and Banner Self-Service as the management system to access all the information you need about your course work.

How to Pay Your Bill

It's important that tuition bills are paid on time. There are many ways that bills can be paid. Find the way that works best for you.

Pay Online 

Follow the steps below to make payments over the internet. For detailed instructions, print the full instructions here.

  1. Log into with your user name and password
  2. Click the "Tools" tab on the next screen.
  3. Choose the "Payment Suite" icon.
  4. Click "Make a Payment."
  5. Follow the on-screen instruction and print a receipt for your records.

Pay By Mail

Tuition bills also can be paid by mail with a check using the following steps:

  1. Make the check payable to "Saint Louis University."
  2. In the check memo line put your full name and Banner ID number.
  3. Mail your check to:

Pay in Person

Additionally, tuition bill can be paid in person at Saint Louis University's campus.

  1. Make the check payable to "Saint Louis University."
  2. In the check memo line write your full name and Banner ID number.
  3. Deliver the payment to the University Cashier in DuBourg Hall Room 2 on the street level on the building.
    • If you do not have a tuition statement, please visit the Office of Student Financial Services in DuBourg Hall Room 121 to obtain a printed copy.

Non-Payment Tuition Repercussions

Not paying a tuition bill on time can lead to repercussions including late fees and even being dropped from your class. It's important to make sure you read your tuition bills, but if you do forget to make a payment here are few things to help get you back on track.

What to Do if Dropped For Non-payment

If you've been dropped for non-payment you can be reinstated into your college credit courses only if the tuition balance is paid in full and reinstatement is processed within the immediately following semester.

For example, if you are dropped for non-payment in the Fall term you must complete the reinstatement process by the end of the following Spring term.

  • Fall Reinstatement Deadline: April 1st of the academic year
  • Spring Reinstatement Deadline: December 1st of the following academic year.

Follow these instructions to have your credit re-instated.

  1. Draft a check for the total balance of your full tuition, plus a $50 reinstatement fee.
  2. Make the check payable to "Saint Louis University"
  3. Write the student's full name and Banner ID number in the memo like of the check.
  4. Mail your check to:

College credit courses will be reinstated if the reinstatement deadline has not passed and after our office has received the full amount of tuition plus the reinstatement fee.
