Lady Antebellum will come to Chaifetz Arena at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, along with Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves.
Lady Antebellum, composed of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, have won "Vocal Group of the Year" from both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music for three consecutive years. The group has garnered seven Grammy Awards throughout their career including "Song of the Year," "Record of the Year," "Best Country Album," and "Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals."
Lady A has sold over 11 million albums since their self-titled debut release in 2007. Six of their singles have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and "Need You Now" and "Just a Kiss" have both cracked the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. November 9 marks Lady Antebellum's second visit to the Chaifetz Arena, as the group performed in January 2009 as part of Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation benefit concert.
Fresh off his debut album, Up All Night, singer-songwriter Kip Moore has yielded three Top 10 singles on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart with "Somethin' Bout a Truck," "Beer Money" and "Hey Pretty Girl." Kacey Musgraves self-released three albums before becoming a participant in USA Network's "Nashville Star" singing competition in 2007. Musgraves was nominated for three ACM Awards last year including "Top New Female Artist" and "Top Female Vocalist."
