The department of neurology and psychiatry will host grand rounds in two different locations from 8-9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17.
The neurology division session will be held in the School of Medicine, 1402 So. Grand, Schwitalla Hall, lecture hall 1. The entrance is through the Learning Resource Center, 3544 Caroline Mall.
Two teams of neurology faculty, led by Salvador Cruz- Flores, M.D., and Stanley Iyadurai, M.D., will compete in NeuroBowl XI.
The program will be moderated by neurology chief resident Ashok Sriram, M.D.
The psychiatry division program will be in Monteleone Hall, 1438 So. Grand, Classroom A [basement level - 011]. The entrance is through the doors by the rear parking lot.
Chandra Shekar Reddy, M.D., will present "Sexually Violent Predators, Law and Psychiatry."
Reddy obtained his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, India, and completed psychiatry residency from Washington University in Saint Louis.
After completing residency he worked as a staff psychiatrist for five years, at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center (SMMHC) in Farmington which includes Sexual Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services division.
He also worked part time for the Missouri Department of Corrections. He is currently the forensic psychiatry fellow in the department of neurology and psychiatry at Saint Louis University.
