The Department of Health Management and Policy in the College of Public Health and Social Justice will present the 39th annual Rev. John J. Flanagan Lecture from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in auditorium of the Health Sciences Education Union. The event is open to the public and a reception will be held after the lecture.
The 2013 topic brings together two Harvard scholars to discuss "Enabling Health Care Innovation through Technology: The Role of Academia." Co-presenters are Regina Herzlinger, Ph.D., Nancy R. McPherson professor of business administration at Harvard Business School, and Margo Seltzer, Ph.D., Herchel Smith Professor of Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University.
