This year as part of RecycleMania 2013, the Center for Sustainability will host the first-ever "Can-Can" Film Festival in the Sinquefield Stateroom (room 409) of Dubourg Hall. All screenings run from 6 to 8 p.m. with a brief discussion afterward and a raffle for prizes.

  • Feb. 20, How I Built a Toaster From Scratch and clips on e-waste

All scheduled events are open to all SLU students. Bring an empty can (or other recyclable) and get a free can of soda. Food and prizes will also be provided. Grab some friends, learn about recycling, watch some cool films and have a good time.

Note that at the Feb. 20 event about e-waste, attendees are also invited to bring e-waste for recycling. The Center for Sustainability can't accept anything too large (no big screen televisions, refrigerators, stoves or other large appliances), but will take items such as computers, monitors, calculators, stereos and small appliances (hot plates, microwaves, toasters, blenders, etc.).
