Naturalization Seminar

Saint Louis University will host a free seminar for ESL, civics and citizenship teachers of adults, sponsored by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Citizenship, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Thursday, March 7 in rooms 251-A and 251-B of Busch Student Center.

USCIS offers free training for adult educators, volunteers and teachers. These seminars are designed to enhance the skills needed to teach U.S. history, civics and the naturalization process to immigrant students. Training opportunities include sessions on the naturalization interview and test, the naturalization process and the fundamental principles of American democracy.

Attendees will learn more about:

  • the naturalization test;
  • the naturalization process; and
  • how to prepare students for the naturalization interview and test

To register for this event, visit the USCIS website. The deadline to register is Tuesday, Feb. 26. There will be no on-site registration.
