'An Evening with Stray Rescue Founder, Randy Grim'

Event Details: 5:30 p.m., April 10, Saint Louis University Museum of Art

An open forum discussion featuring Stray Rescue founder, Randy Grim, will be held at the Saint Louis University Museum of Art on Wednesday, April 10. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the discussion gets underway at 6 p.m. Pizza and snacks will be provided by the SLU Learning Community.

The Saint Louis University Museum of Art is currently exhibiting, Urban Wanderers, a fundraising art exhibition in partnership with Stray Rescue. The exhibition features artwork inspired by the hopeful recovery stories of Stray Rescue's abandoned and abused companion animals. Paintings, photographs and sculpture are available online for auction

The focus of the 2013 Urban Wanderers exhibition is "The Plight of the Street Dog." In his presentation, Randy will discuss the realities of life on the streets for abandoned and abused animals, as well what can be done to assist the dedicated staff of Stray Rescue in their efforts to provide these sweet, defenseless pups with a chance to be fed, sheltered and loved for the remainder of their lives.
