The School for Professional Studies (SPS) at Saint Louis University is proud to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility designed to provide high-quality workforce training and development programs in the St. Louis area.

SPS Dean Jennifer Giancola, Ph.D., explains, "The Center will provide another avenue through which SLU can work with the St. Louis business community. We intend to be a true partner on employee, leadership and organizational development needs."

The Workforce Center is offering more than 400 courses and certificates, covering such fields as Application Development, Project Management, Mobile Development, Information Security, Business Intelligence and much more. SLU employees and alumni are eligible for a 15 percent discount off of these courses.

The Center also is providing additional services to the IT, business and healthcare communities, including private training, consulting and assessment services, all of which can be customized to meet the specific needs of an organization.

According to Katherine Cain, the Center's new Executive Director, "Our mission at the Workforce Center is to provide the highest quality instruction, value and customer service to business professionals in the metropolitan area."

SLU's Workforce Center is conveniently located on the 2nd Floor of the Wool Center at 3545 Lindell Boulevard, on the SLU campus.
