Peter A. Lawler, Ph.D., will present "Virtue and the Prospect of Indefinite Longevity" as part of the Drummond Lecture in Health Care Ethics.
Lawler is the Dana Professor of Government and former chair of the Department of Government and International Studies at Berry College.
He is executive editor of the quarterly journal, Perspectives on Political Science, and has been chair of the politics and literature section of the American Political Science Association. Lawler also served on President George W. Bush's Council on Bioethics.
