The Division of Neurology and Psychiatry will host separate Grand Rounds on from 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday, April 25, in two separate locations.
The neurology session will be in Lecture Hall 1 in Schwitalla Hall and will be presented by a resident physician in the division. Bassam Malo, M.D., PGY 3 resident, will present "You Have a Muscle Disease but It's Not What They Told You." Stanley Iyadurai, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor, will also present "stnemevoM rorriM."
The Psychiatry session will be held in Classroom B of Monteleone Hall. Charles Conway, M.D., will present "Dopamine: The Key Neurotransmitter of Treatment-Resistant Depression? Recent Findings." Conway is research assistant professor at the School of Medicine; associate professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine; and founder and director of the Washington University Treatment Resistant Depression Clinic.
