'The Hudson Link Story' Screening

Event Details: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., April 26, Busch Student Center, St. Louis Room, 20 N Grand Blvd., St. Louis Room (Room 300), Third Floor, St. Louis, MO, 63103-2051

The Saint Louis University Prison Arts and Education Program and the Great Issues Committee will present "The Hudson Link Story" from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, in the Saint Louis Room of Busch Student Center. There will be a viewing of the film and a Q&A with Hudson Link Executive Director Sean Pica.

The documentary tells the story of the Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison Program inside New York's Sing Sing Prison. While it may be years before the students see life outside the prison walls, viewers see first-hand the dedication they have shown in transforming their lives through education. Ultimately, the success of the program is measured in its zero percent recidivism rate for graduates.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
