The 16th annual Obstetrics and Gynecology Spring Conference and Resident Research Symposium will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, at St. Mary's Health Center. Friday's lectures will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday's will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Keynote speakers include Nanette Santoro, M.D., professor and E. Stewart Taylor Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, John Repke, M.D., university professor and chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Penn State College of Medicine.
Santoro's lecture topics will include "Sex, Lies and Bioidentical Hormones" and "Staging Reproductive Aging in Women," and Repke's lecture topics will include "Preeclampsia: From Eastman to the Present" and "Obstetric-Ultrasound: Should Cervical Length be Routinely Obtained?" In addition, several faculty from the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health will present other timely lectures and residents will present original research.
Breakfast and exhibits will take place on both dates and a luncheon will also be held on Friday. All events are free of charge for SLU staff and faculty and CME credits are available, but registration is required.
