Casa de Salud is hosting its second quarterly meeting of the Latino Health Coalition. The coalition is focused on bringing people and groups together who share a common interest in community health outreach and the Latino community.
The Latino Health Coalition meeting will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31st at Casa de Salud, 3200 Chouteau Ave., 63103. The event is open anyone who works in community health or medicine, is active in the Latino community, or would like to learn more about Casa de Salud. Food and refreshments will be served.
At the meeting, organizers will share the preliminary resuls of Casa's needs assessment survey and provide an update at Casa's Salud Savvy program, a two-year health literacy demonstration project funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health. Participants will also discuss strategies for raising awareness about Casa programs and identifying target populations.
