Bueller? Anyone, Bueller? Join the Great Issues Committee at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Wool Ballroom at Busch Student Center to hear from renowned economist and entertainer Ben Stein. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

An authentic Renaissance man, celebrity speaker Ben Stein has done just about everything in his career, making him one of the most recognizable faces and voices in America today. He is the former host of the Emmy-laden game show "Win Ben Stein's Money," and can anyone forget the role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off that made him a household name? Anyone, anyone?

A prolific author, Ben Stein has written many novels and nonfiction books, several screenplays, and regularly contributes essays and op-eds to a variety of national newspapers and magazines. Among the topics he writes on are ethical and social issues in finance, the political and social content of mass culture, the concealed messages of TV, and how TV and films are made.

His most recent books include the best-selling humor self-help book, How to Ruin Your Life; How Successful People Win: Using Bunkhouse Logic to Get What You Want in Life; and 26 Steps to Succeed in Hollywood...or Any Other Business, co-authored with Al Burton.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
