The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies will host Bob Charron, a scholar on medieval and Renaissance martial arts based on manuscript studies, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, on the quad in from of DuBourg Hall.
He will be speak about the renaissance fighter and this event is free and open to the public.
Charron will be giving a workshop on medieval martial arts, focusing on the use of the longsword, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Registration is required for this event, and is available by contacting Thomas Rowland at email@example.com. Cost of this event is $40.
