The School of Medicine's Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development and Spotlight on Women in Medicine and Science will sponsor a lecture event from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in Pitlyk Auditorium A in the Learning Resource Center.
Featured speaker Leah Lorendo, Ph.D., will present "Influential Communication through Vocal Distinction" at 12:30 p.m.
Featured University Speakers include:
- Susan Gonzalo-Hervas, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, will speak at 2:15 p.m.
- Betsy E. Tuttle-Newhall, M.D., professor of Department of Surgery-Transplant, will speak at 2:45 p.m.
- Robin Chamberland, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Pathology; Barbara Braddock, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Division of Developmental Pediatrics; and Katherine Robbins, M.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology, will speak 3:30 p.m.
A panel discussion and Q&A will follow at 4:30 p.m., with a reception following immediately after the program.
