What advice would you offer to students during their college search and application processes?
Plan ahead! Apply early! And get to know your admission counselor. Our job is to help you through this process, and help determine if SLU is the best place to set you up for success.

How long have you worked as an admissions counselor at Saint Louis University?
I've been at SLU for 4 years.

What do you enjoy most about your work as an admissions counselor at Saint Louis University?
The students. There are SO MANY good kids out there! There are so many things to consider when it comes to the college search, and having the ability to help students every day make one of the most important decisions of their life is a blessing.

Where is your favorite spot on SLU's campus?
I'd have to say it's on the front steps of Chaifetz Arena. Being able to see so many parts of campus from there is absolutely awesome.

What is your favorite restaurant (or entertainment venue) near SLU's campus that you recommend to students and their families?
I gotta go with Busch Stadium. We're the best fans in baseball!

What did you study as an undergraduate?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, with a minor in Theology.

Other than those regarding financial aid, what are the most common questions you receive from prospective students and their families, and how do you respond?
The most common question I get is: What's the community like at SLU? I typically answer by talking about our students, their activities, service, among other things. SLU offers a big school atmosphere with the personal attention in the classroom that most students prefer. All the students are here for basically the same reasons: to grow as a person, and learn about your true interests. That's the beauty of get to major in what you enjoy studying most!
