What advice would you offer to students during their college search and application processes?
Start the process early! You will be amazed how quickly your senior year will flash by, so the earlier you can get started on the process, the better off you will be.

How long have you worked as an admissions counselor at Saint Louis University?
I started in the Admission Office in 2009 recruiting the Midwest, and moved out to the East Coast as a regional in 2013!

What do you enjoy most about your work as an admissions counselor at Saint Louis University?
The day where I get to call the Presidential Scholarship winners and let them know they get to come to school for free.

Where is your favorite spot on SLU's campus?
The clocktower steps. In the springtime when the fountains are on, there's no better place!

What is your favorite restaurant (or entertainment venue) near SLU's campus that you recommend to students and their families?
Pickleman's. Everytime I'm back on campus I make the trek over for their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. (Make sure and add hot peppers for an extra kick!)

What did you study as an undergraduate?
I graduated from SLU in 2007 with a degree in International Business.

Other than those regarding financial aid, what are the most common questions you receive from prospective students and their families, and how do you respond?
Where is the best place to live as an incoming freshman?
I lived in Gries my freshman year and had a great time. Although many of my friends lived in Reinert. I always let students know that it's not the building that you live in, it's the people and community that make your freshman year a great experience.
