AIMS is an outreach program of Saint Louis University. AIMS combines hands-on programs, auditorium presentations, and distance learning to bring lessons of anatomy and science to life for students across the country and internationally.
The inquiry-based methods employed by the AIMS program faculty focus on activities that challenge students and stimulate experiential learning. The process of discovery employed in the hands-on programs builds important science literacy skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork.
SLU is fortunate to offer to this community a world class facility that provided science education programs for more than 16,000 young people in the last school year. Thank you for your past participation, and we look forward to serving you again.
The programs offered through the AIMS program are:
AIMS Staff - Kim Dondanville, Program Coordinator & Ray Vollmer, Education Specialist
AIMS was honored for the eighth consecutive school year with a Pinnacle Award from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration for distance learning programs.
This award, presented annually, is based on teacher evaluations submitted through the CILC website and recognizes outstanding performance by a content provider.
