2014-2015

This year, AAS celebrates its 40th year at SLU. We recognize the fact that students from past generations, in their activism and concern, brought AAS-then Black Studies-to SLU. Also, we remember fondly the faculty and staff leaders of the program throughout the decades. With that in mind, we will honor the many trailblazers who brought to SLU's curriculum the systematic, interdisciplinary study of people of African descent. Check back soon for more details regarding the celebration.
