Parks College Turns 80
When Oliver L. Parks founded the Parks Air Academy in
1927, did he know how many lives and careers his pilot
school would eventually help to shape? Could he have
known how the school's students would eventually use
their educations to make the world a better place?
Parks College is marking its 80th anniversary in 2007,
and we're calling on our alumni to help us celebrate
the occasion in appropriately grand style.

Parks College Tribute Timeline
During its 80th Anniversary Celebration, Parks College
of Engineering, Aviation and Technology unveiled its
historic tribute timeline that maps the history of Parks
and the Institute of Technology (IT). The timeline also
serves as a tribute to the faculty, staff, and students
of both Parks and IT who have made legendary contributions

Oliver L. Parks Alumni Merit Award
The award is given each year to a member of the Parks
College Alumni association as is defined in the association
constitution and by laws. The award is conferred only
on a graduate who exemplifies, to an outstanding degree
in daily life, the example of Oliver L. Parks.
