ENTREPRENEURIAL ALUMNI HALL OF FAME


Eligibility (for all categories):

1. Alumni – To be considered eligible for the Hall of Fame (HoF), the individual has to have received at least one academic degree or certificate from a unit of Saint Louis University (any school or program). Recipients of SLU honorary degrees are also considered eligible.

2. Entrepreneurial – In their organizational role the nominee will have displayed the characteristics of an entrepreneur - innovativeness, customer/market orientation, a desire to grow the organization and a concern for the efficient use of the resources available. Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial leadership refers to behavior which builds the organization through innovation, substantial market expansion, or revitalization, as well as those instances where the individual may have taken a company successfully through a retrenchment.

3. Leadership – The nominee actions under consideration will be those they displayed while in a position of senior leadership in their organization, such as owner or senior level manager.

4. “Do Good. Do Well” – The nominee will have displayed the concern for the good of the larger society in their role, through good works, helping others or support of education, civic, social or charitable activities. They will also have displayed organizational or financial success relative to those in their chosen setting.
