Purpose

The purpose of the Student Alumni Association is to promote programs and provide information and means of communication in an effort to:

• Stimulate interest and participation of all students in the life of the University, specifically alumni relations.

• Develop a mutually beneficial relationship between alumni of the University and current students .

• Build a sense of leadership skills in all members.

• Maintain and promote a strong and positive relationship by representing the University and the alumni association to the community .

• Enhance and preserve SLU's traditions.

• Educate students on their future roles as alumni after graduation.

National Affiliations
SAA is a member of the Association for Student Advancement Programs, which is affiliated with the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
