The foundation for our service must be faith--the foundation
on which St. Ignatius founded the Society of Jesus…the
foundation from which he derived the strength to focus
his--and our--efforts devoted to serving God through others
with whom we come in contact.
TWILIGHT RETREATS
During Advent and during Lent, these evenings of reflection
provide two short talks related to the liturgical season,
time for personal reflection and a simple meal. These
retreats are open to all faculty and staff and friends
of the University.
BRIDGES
The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola are regularly
offered on campus through the Bridges Program. Known as
the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life,
Bridges offers a program of prayer and reflection for
busy people.
Drawing heavily from the gospels for their content, the
Spiritual Exercises suggest ways of making contact with
God--through meditation, contemplation, vocal and mental
prayer, and other spiritual activities.
Many other programs and opportunities exploring the
University's Jesuit mission and serving individuals' spiritual
needs are offered on campus.

programs and other programs, please contact Mary Flick,
