Who can join?
Alumni who have graduated from Saint Louis Universityover the
past 15 years from either undergraduate or graduate programs.
What are the requirements?
Alumni must serve as a committee member or committee chair and
members are required to attend committee meetings and participate
in general meetings.
What YAA committees can I join?
Marketing Communications
Responsible for promotion of YAA. Includes promoting the events
and activities of YAA to other prospective members. In addition
the committee will publish an e-newsletter and maintain contact
with alumni via the web site and e-mail.
Events and Activities
Responsible for the planning and implementation of special
events hosted by YAA. Events include happy hours, sporting
activities and other alumni sponsored events. Chairperson
is Katie Schwartz.
Membership Recruitment
Responsible for developing ideas and incentives to get
more young alumni involved in the Young Alumni Association.
Chairperson is Jonelle
Harris.
Where do the meetings take place?
YAA meetings take place the second Thursday every month at 6:30
p.m. in Verhaegen Hall, room 219..
When are the meetings scheduled and how long are they?
YAA committee meetings take place once a month on the second
Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and usually run about an
hour in length. Committees are expected to report on the status
of their work at monthly meetings.
How can I join?
Simply fill out the online
form and sending it back to us. Once we have received your form
we will then be able to process your application within a couple
of days. A YAA member will be in touch with you soon to answer any
questions you may have and to let you know the exact date of the
next meeting.
