Transracial Adoptees Invited to Take Part in Research Survey
Participants must be at least 18 years old and adopted by parents who were racially or ethnically different from themselves.
Participants are needed for a research study about the factors that contribute to individual and relationship outcomes for adults adopted transracially.
Adoptee volunteers will offer their experiences of their parents, identity development, psychological well-being, and experiences in adult romantic relationship. The goal is to learn more about the impact of parental relationships on the adult lives and relationships of individuals who were adopted transracially.
Participation in this study will involve the completion of one Internet survey, which will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. In order to participate, individuals must be adopted transracially (i.e., adopted by parents who were racially or ethnically different from themselves) and be at least 18 years old and not living with adoptive parents.
