Blackboard, the software that powers SLU Global, will be changing the way it delivers its Mobile Learn app for students and faculty beginning Monday, Sept. 10. Currently, the app has limited availability to Sprint customers using iOS devices over Wi-Fi or Android devices over Sprint's cellular network. On Monday, Blackboard will make the Mobile Learn app available for purchase on iOS and Android devices on all carriers and networks.
Students can use the new app to check grades and assignments, view documents, create discussion and blog posts, and more. Instructors can also post announcements and upload content to their courses.
The new app can be purchased beginning Monday, Sept. 10, through the App Store and Google Play. Customers who already have the app will be required to upgrade to this new version in order to continue using it. The app will cost $1.99 for one year of access or a one-time fee of $5.99 for unlimited access.
