The second annual SLU Art Fair, "Where Creativity Touches Lives," will take place from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in the Wool Ballroom in Busch Student Center.
Faculty, staff, alumni and student artists will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their creations with 10 percent of the proceeds being donated to the "Allies for Inclusion: The Ability Exhibit." This traveling exhibit is designed to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through respect for others, comfort during interactions, and awareness of disability issues.
Sign up now to reserve a table. At this time the SLU Art Fair committee, led by Ellen Harmon, is seeks SLU artists interested in participating. All creative mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, fabrics, origami, even music and poetry.
There is a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee (free to SLU students) to cover costs of the fair. Anyone interested in sharing their talents with the University community are asked to complete the Artist Information Form and use the online payment form to pay for registration.
