The Department of Communication invites nominations for its two inaugural alumni awards: the Young Alumni Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, April 1.
The awards will recognize outstanding graduates who were majors, minors or graduate students in the program. Qualifications for each award are as follows:

Young Alumni Award
The department's advisory board, along with faculty, will select the award winners. Current board members are not eligible for the awards. Awards will be presented at the department's annual banquet honoring graduates in May.
Nominations are due by April 1 each year for consideration for the May awards ceremony. Nominations are welcome from the public, as are self-nominations.
