Last Week to Submit New IRB Applications Using Paper Forms
All Saint Louis University researchers should be using the eIRB system for new IRB protocol submissions. This is the final week that the IRB will accept new protocol submissions using paper forms.
As of Monday, August 1, all new protocols should be submitted in the eIRB system. The eIRB system can be accessed at https://eirb.slu.edu.
Some types of IRB submissions will still require use of paper forms. These include: new HUD, Emergency Use, Compassionate Use and Facilitated review submissions and actions on existing (paper) IRB protocols, such as amendments, continuing review and safety or closure reports.
Existing IRB protocols will be incorporated into the eIRB system very soon. Watch for future announcements about requirements for continuing review of existing (paper) protocols.
Training documents for eIRB are available on the IRB website: http://www.slu.edu/x30683.xml.
Please direct any questions or concerns about the implementation of eIRB to 314-977-7744 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
