Graduating Seniors Reminded to Complete Loan Exit Interviews
Students who received a federal loan must complete their interview by May 10 to avoid a hold on their transcripts and any future registration.
Any student who borrowed a federal Perkins, Institutional or Nursing loan is required to complete an exit interview. As of April 10, students will be able to access the necessary information for their electronic exit interview online. The University Accounting Service website performs best in the Internet Explorer browser.
The goal of the Student Financial Services office is to fulfill federal regulations for exit counseling sessions prior to graduation regarding the above loan program(s), acquaint students with the billing agent, University Accounting Service and assist with understanding repayment of all loan(s).
It is suggested that after completing the online interview, students immediately print their "Truth In Lending Statement" and repayment schedule to complete their loan packet and for their financial records.
A hold will be placed on academic transcripts and future registration if students do not complete the electronic exit interview by Friday, May 10.
