ITS to begin Quarterly Technology Satisfaction Surveys
Feedback will guide planning, staffing and spending activities for ITS in the coming year.
In order to better track and report the satisfaction of its customers, Information Technology Services will be conducting quarterly surveys of the University community. A random group of individuals from across the University will be selected and surveyed every three months. Each individual will only receive one survey per year. The quarterly survey process will help the Division more quickly assess how technology product and service changes impact the University community.
A tool named TechQual has been selected to conduct the survey. At some point during the year, users will receive an email from David Hakanson, vice president and chief information officer, sent via sendgrid.me with a link to the survey. Be aware that the information submitted will be processed anonymously and will remain confidential.
The first survey will be distributed on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Those who receive it will have two weeks to complete it. A reminder email will be sent one week prior to the survey expiration date.
Participation in this survey provides ITS with critical information regarding technology services. Those who receive a survey are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete it. The feedback received on the survey will guide planning, staffing and spending activities for ITS in the coming year, and it will align ITS Division focus to the technology areas that may be identified as not meeting expectations.
Contact the ITS Service Desk at 314-977-4000 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or for assistance with the survey.
