Saint Louis University's Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA) has extended its current exhibition, "Adrian Kellard: The Learned Art of Compassion," through Dec. 18.
The exhibition features work by American artist Adrian Kellard (1959-91), who incorporated "high" art with "low" art, combining images quoted from artists of the past with images from pop culture. His distinctive, brightly colored woodcut panels convey sophisticated themes while remaining visually accessible.
Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m- 4 p.m. Admission is free, though there is a suggested donation of $5, or $1 for students and children.
Call 314-977-7170 or visit the MOCRA website for more information.
