Volunteers Needed for Movement Study
Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years old and have no history of knee injury or knee surgery.
Barb Yemm, DPT, assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training, seeks volunteers for a research study involving visual assessment techniques of lower extremity movement patterns.
The purpose of the study is to investigate visual assessment of leg movement during squatting and stair descent.
Volunteers must be adults, 18-40 years old, who are not experiencing knee pain or have had any history of serious knee injury or previous knee surgery.
Participation will entail one 10-20 minute movement analysis session in which a video of the volunteer performing three activities: two leg small squat, a single leg small squat and a step down from a box step.
