ITS will be performing maintenance on several servers that support the mySLU portal, Banner Self-Service, and on Sunday, Aug. 11. Note the impact to the following applications from 8 a.m. to noon that day:

Unavailable applications and services during the maintenance will include:

  • Activity Insight 
  • Internet Native Banner 
  • Banner Self-Service 
  • Blackboard Learn
  • Cliqbook & Concur Expense 
  • Cognos Reporting 
  • ODS Self Service Reporting 
  • Payment Suite 
  • Qualtrics Survey Tool 
  • SLU 101 Registration 
  • SLU Appointments 
  • SLU Connection (Groups) 
  • SkillSoft 
  • Student Housing 
  • TaskStream 
  • UC4 Job scheduler (jobs on hold)
  • WebFocus Dashboard and Report Delivery System
  • WebXtender 
  • Workflow processing

At some point, during the 8 a.m. to noon timeframe, there will be a short outage for the application servers that host:

  • Service Desk Password Tool
  • (CAS Single Sign-on)

During this time users may not see redirects, and attempting to go to any of these sites may result in a browser error. Anyone who is unable to reach one of these servers should try again in 20 minutes. When these servers are available, a redirect will be in place for the mySLU portal and the following applications on the Tools tab:

  • Cards/Stationery Orders 
  • Facilities Service Request
  • Google Apps 
  • IT Service Request 
  • MyFiles 
  • OASIS 
  • PeopleFinder 
  • Reveal 
  • SendThisFile
