The Student Government Association will award five $1,000 scholarships to juniors and seniors who have demonstrated exceptional involvement and service to the University community.
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and cannot be receiving a full-tuition scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship will be credited to the current spring 2013 semester. Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18.
Interested students can apply online through SGA's SLU Groups page or submit a printed application in person to Cheryl Kaufman in the Student Involvement Center (suite 319 in Busch Student Center). Note that all letters of recommendation must be submitted in person. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. This scholarship is restricted to undergraduate students who: (a) have completed at least 60 credit hours after full-time enrollment in a University or College (e.g., 1818, AP, and IB credit do not apply); (b) have completed at least two semesters at Saint Louis University;(c) are not receiving a full-tuition scholarship as defined by the University; and (d) who maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Scholarship funds will only be applied to Spring 2013 tuition and cannot exceed the cost of tuition.
