Saint Louis University's School Supply Drive had yet another great year in 2013. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of SLU faculty, students and staff more than 11,000 items were collected, which translates into many thousands of dollars' worth of school supplies to be given to thousands of underserved children in the local St. Louis community.
Collections are being distributed to KidSmart, a non-profit agency that provides school supplies to more than 90,000 children and teachers across the St. Louis area.
The drive was supported by departments across all of campus. The Advancement Division, the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, and the SLUCare PMO Office led the way with the most items donated, helping to once again make this drive a success.
