Two teams of Saint Louis University students competed in this year's Mid-Central regional competition as part of an international programming contest (ACM-ICPC) on Nov. 4.

The top team, consisting of students Nathan Bossart, Jiaqi Li and Jordan Wisch, finished in first place out of the 13 teams competing at the St. Louis site and in fourth place overall out of 138 teams in the five-state Mid-Central Region.

This is the second year in a row that SLU's team has placed first in St. Louis, with Bossart and Li serving as returning members, and the fourth place showing in the region is the strongest ever result by SLU.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
