Volunteers Needed for Motivational Interviewing Training

Clinical psychology doctoral students will practice motivational interviewing on participants who wish to begin exercising regularly.

Do you want to start exercising? Having trouble maintaining your motivation to exercise?

Volunteers are needed for clinical psychology doctoral students to practice an intervention called motivational interviewing. Motivational interviewing is a collaborative conversation style for strengthening a person's own motivation and commitment to change.

The interviews are for therapists learning to conduct a motivational interview, and will be held held in the Psychological Services Center in Shannon Hall. They will last approximately 50 minutes and are confidential.
